CURED ITALIAN ACETATE.
We cure our Italian acetate for an extended period of time in specially designed ovens, ensuring the acetate is in a more stable state when it’s used for production so it’s less likely to warp or twist.
VISOTTICA COMOTEC HINGES.
We use the superior quality of COMOTEC hinges because their Italian made products receive strenuous testing to ensure their hinges don’t fail when they are put through a hard life.
CUSTOM TITANIUM NOSE PADS WITH ION PLATING.
We have specially developed our nosepads using high-grade titanium that is treated with Ion plating. Unlike many others platings, Ion plating is hypoallergenic which is vital because nose pads are in constant contact with the skin.r
JAPANESE TITANIUM.
We use high grade Japanese Titanium because it has the highest strength-to-density ratio of any metallic element, making it very lightweight, strong and it’s also highly resistant to corrosion.
THE BLACK SCREWS.
We use black in colour individually laser cut high grade Stainless steel SS304 screws (normally used for high-end Swiss watches) as they are stronger and do not bur like conventional mould injected optical screws.
18KT GOLD PLATED.
We use 9KT, 18KT or 22KT Gold in the plating of our metal components in order to give our frames the required gold tone to highlight their luxury look.
18KT GOLD PLATED HEX HEAD SCREWS.
Sourced from Swiss watch factories, these are the strongest screws that will never tarnish or burr.
EMBEDDED LOGOS.
We secure our logos by rst laser engraving a cavity, deep embedding them and then applying a layer of epoxy over the top. This leaves our logos smooth to the touch, with a luxurious gold appearance and ensures they do not come free.
