ZEISS BIO-BASED NYLON LENSES with Z LOGO and GOLD ET AR COATED
Not all lenses are created equal, we choose to use ZEISS BIO-BASED lenses because Carl ZEISS is the world leader in photographic, telescopic and optical lenses. Because of their diversity in lenses their standards and testing well exceed the normal Optical industry standards and as such ensure your vision is at its optimal.
The Z
Only real ZEISS lenses carry the Z of authenticity on the inside edge of their lenses, if there’s no Z, they’re not ZEISS.
Nylon
We choose to use sun-lenses sustainably made from BIO-BASED Nylon polyamide (also known as military grade) because of its excellent optical properties. No other material offers a better combination of being scratch resistant, lightweight, UV protective, chemical resistant, strength and optimal clarity of vision.
Gold ET Anti Reflective Back Coating
In 1935 ZEISS patented their first Anti Reflective coating. We choose to coat the back of all of our sun-lenses with their GOLD ET AR coating because it prevents light from entering the wearer's eye through reflection, creating clearer vision, as well as adding to the comfort and protection of the lens. The reduction in reflections also improves the contrast of the image by elimination of stray light.

CUSTOM TITIANIUM NOSE PADS WITH Ion PLATING
Not all nose pads are created equal, we choose to have our nose pads specially made using high-grade titanium that has been treated with Ion platting. Unlike many other plating’s, Ion plating is hypoallergenic and this is vital because nose pads are in constant contact with the skin.
JAPANESE TITAINIUM
Not all metals are created equal, we choose to use high grade Japanese Titanium because it’s highly resistant to corrosion, it’s lightweight and it’s very strong. Wikipedia Titainium-The two most useful properties of the metal are corrosion resistance and the highest strength-to-density ratio of any metallic element
CURED ITALIAN/JAPANESSE ACETATE
Not all acetates are created equal, we choose to cure our acetate for an extended period of time in specially designed ovens, ensuring the acetate is in a more stable state when it’s used for production so it’s less likely to warp or twist.
CUSTOM ACETATE NOSE PADS
Not all acetates nose pads are created equal, we have spent 18 years perfecting our uniquely shaped acetate nose pads so that they fit a broader range of nose shapes making our frames sit correctly on both smaller and larger nose bridges from different ethnicity. Our uniquely designed nose pads are also engineered to spread the weight of your frame more evenly across a wider nose pads surface to elevate unsightly marks that can be left on you nose
18KT GOLD PLATED
We use real 9KT, 18KT or 22KT Gold in the plating of our metal components in order to give our frames the required gold tone to highlight their luxury look.
18KT GOLD PLATED HEX HEAD SCREWS
Sourced from Swiss watch factories, these are the strongest screws that will never tarnish or burr.
EMBEDED LOGOS
Not all logos are created equal, we choose to secure our logos by first laser engraving, deep embedding them and then applying a layer of epoxy over the top. This leaves our logos smooth to the touch, with a luxurious gold appearance and ensures they do not come free.

Each colour element of our frames is carefully selected to create a perfect harmony between lens and frame. Our colour palettes are forecast intelligently for the upcoming season, emanating the unique style of every individual frame, and the individuals who wear them.

Carl Zeiss lenses are reserved for only the best eyewear brands in the world, and we’re proud of our long-standing partnership with them. Through the creation of each new style, we work closely with the Carl Zeiss factory, carefully selecting our lenses to create unique custom colours.
Handpicked Elements
For over three generations, our long-standing friends in the small Italian town of Castiglione Olona have produced the highest quality materials and components used in the creation of each pair of frames.

Once our frames are designed, with each element carefully selected, they’re entrusted in the hands of master artisans. Our partners work with our materials for up to 14 hours, bringing them to life through the refined art of creation.
